After making all of this furniture, I wanted to try and make a lamp. So I bent and brazed some steel tubing, ran some wiring, sanded a little oak handle, and made a miniature version of my "potence" style lamp. It swivels on a wire rod inside the tubing, and lights up. It plugs into the standard dollhouse lighting kits, so it will work in your dollhouse too :) I've been extremely busy lately but when I've had time, I've been working on some more miniatures for Etsy. SOON. I promise I'll do a post right before I list them. I'm trying to make a few of each piece to give people a chance to get what they want, but they're aren't all exactly the same. This is a steel chair with a bent rosewood seat and back. I've wanted to make a full-size chair like this, so making the miniature really gave me an idea of what it would actually look like. I'm working on a few of these credenzas using the same size but with different legs and door options. There's just so many possibilities with different materials. This one has plexiglas sliding doors, I've also made some with brushed stainless and different woods. The scrapwood end table is made out of the off-fall from the scrapwood bench. P.S. Thanks for all of the miniature-enthusiast love. I had no idea there was such a large group of you guys and I'm happy to be part of it and appreciated. There really are some amazing mini stuff out there. Like This and this and this.
